Paulina, has two years of experience as an account manager in sales and marketing in Mexico. She holds a Bachelors of Communication from the highly ranked Monterrey Institute of Technology. She is eager to apply her relationship management, creative/marketing, and language skills to serve the growing Latino market in the United States.

Roela is a legal professional with 10 years experience in corporate governance, administrative law, and litigation. She is currently seeking a legal assistant position in immigration or corporate law. Roela is fluent in English, Tagalog, and Ilonggo and holds Bachelor Degrees in Law and English.

Success Stories
Krisada Tawee, a public administration and public policy professional from Thailand, will begin a new position as Grant Administrator with Asian Pacific Islander Family Support organization. He is excited to have the opportunity to apply his 10+ years of experience in administrative, operations, and management in this position. Kris holds a MA in Public Administration from San Francisco State University, and an MA and BA from Thailand. Kris found this position through networking at a job fair.
Glaucia, an administrative and translation/interpretation specialist from Brazil recently began a position as Executive Assistant with the Latino Community Foundation. She will be applying her 4 years experience in translation/interpretation in Portuguese, Spanish and English, and office management experience. Glaucia holds a BA in Interpretation and Translation (from Euripides Soares University, in Marilia, Brazil. She found the position through Upwardly Global's Employer Network program.
Belay, an Accountant and Finance Professional, from Ethiopia, began a new position as a Community Investment Specialist, with Federal Home Loan Bank, San Francisco. Belay brings his 10+ years experience in financial planning, accounting and auditing and an M.A., in International Development and Cooperation. Belay found this position through Upwardly Global's Employer Network.
Rashidat & Lateef of Nigeria are both Accountants. A couple who arrived in NY last April, both Rashidat and Lateef found professional positions this fall working as staff accountants. Rashidat is excited to apply her audit management, financial accounting, and tax management skills to her new position with Epana, while Lateef is applying his accounting skills at Davids Financial Corporation. After seeing an Upwardly Global flyer in a local Chase branch, these job seekers went "full speed ahead" in their job search and quickly found success!
